New Tenant at Market Square Retail - SakuraXpress

SakuraXpress is coming to the Market Square Retail Center in Prince Frederick this fall. They will be moving into the old Benjamin Moore space between Hot Licks and Dickinson Jewelers. Their restaurant will feature fast-casual Asian food and will be a great addition to the Market Square lineup. They plan to start construction in June and be moved in this fall. If any of these apply to your business SMECO currently has programs available that can reduce your monthly electric bill and repay part of the cost for upgrading bulbs and fixtures. Beginning around March 2012 SMECO will be offering an energy audit program for small businesses similar to the program for homes. SMECO currently offers rebates for lighting and heating/AC changes that increase energy efficiency. These are as simple as $25 for upgrading to a more energy efficient fixture or $100 to install an occupancy sensor, as large as $1,350 for installing a 5 HP VFD on your HVAC system. Greater Baden Medical Ribbon Cutting Held

Greater Baden Medical Center held their ribbon cutting ceremony week for their new facility in the 301 Commercial Center in Brandywine, MD. Marrick Commercial developed the 301 Commercial site and built Greater Baden Medical's building and completed the sale of it to them earlier this year. Notable politicians that were at the ribbon cutting were Lt. Governor Brown and Senate President Thomas V "Mike" Miller, Jr. Marrick Commercial is proud to have been a key part of helping Greater Baden move into their new facility. CSM Carpentry Lab Dedicated to Marrick Homes

Marrick Homes got the opportunity last last Tuesday to tour the College of Southern Maryland's Center for Trades & Energy Training labs. After the tour the carpentry lab was named after Marrick Homes in recognition of their contributions to CSM over the years. The College of Southern Maryland Center for Trades and Energy Training provides training and certification for students in the electrical, HVAC, carpentry and welding fields. The buildout of Anne Arundel Dermatology's newest office is complete and they have moved in and opened for business. Anne Arundel Dermatolgy has moved to the Market Square 100 office building located across the street from Calvert Memorial Hospital and adjacent to the popular Market Square Retail Center. By relocating their office Anne Arundel Dermatology was able to improve their level of patient care with a larger and more comfortable waiting area, additional labs and exam rooms, and the most up to date equipment. All of the permits for the Market Square 200 office building have been approved. We are now working to sign up the first tenants and begin construction. Market Square 200 is a 27,960 SF Class A office building located adjacent to the existing Market Square Retail Center and Market Square 100 office building. Market Square 200 will have the same underground parking and similiar high end finishes as Market Square 100. Calvert Internal Medicine Group is opening their Sleep Center in the Market Square 100 building on Monday May 2, 2011. Construction of the space was completed on time and Calvert Internal Medicine Group is wrapping up furnishing the space and training new staff. The new space turned out fantastic and is a great addition to the Market Square 100 office building. The sleep center will be headed by Dr. Kim Goring and will be treating up to 2 patients when it opens with the capacity to expand to 4. Marrick is excited to have another outstanding tenant occupy the Class “A” office building.

The buildout of Anne Arundel Dermatology's newest office is complete and they have moved in and opened for business. Anne Arundel Dermatolgy has moved to the Market Square 100 office building located across the street from Calvert Memorial Hospital and adjacent to the popular Market Square Retail Center. By relocating their office Anne Arundel Dermatology was able to improve their level of patient care with a larger and more comfortable waiting area, additional labs and exam rooms, and the most up to date equipment. Construction of the space was completed on time and Calvert Internal Medicine Group is wrapping up furnishing the space and training new staff. The new space turned out fantastic and is a great addition to the Market Square 100 office building. The sleep center will be headed by Dr. Kim Goring and will be treating up to 2 patients when it opens with the capacity to expand to 4.
